Younis Khan: He is an experienced campaigner, and is a proven performer at the biggest stage. He is one of better players of spin, meaning he will be able to play against Swann well. Also, he has been in great form so will be wanting to score big in the series that counts.
Saeed Ajmal: Now, this bowler will be the real threat to England. He has been one of our consistent performers this year, and is always consistently getting wickets. He will be eyeing to get up the test rankings too. One of the best spinners in the world, currently
Mohammad Hafeez: His performance in test 2011 , 647 runs at 40.43, 15 wickets at 25.93 Pakistan’s resurgent year is typified by Hafeez. During the team’s unbeaten run against Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, he flourished at the top of the order after a sluggish start to his latest incarnation as a Test cricketer earlier in the year. Hundreds in Bulawayo and Chittagong were the standout performances. His offspin gave the bowling attack an added option and he ended the year taking the new ball.
Graeme Swann: Currently in the top 3 of bowlers test rankings. He will almost definitely threaten our batsmen. Last time we had a series with England he was amongst the highest wicket-takers that series – Our batsmen are not excellent against spin as it is. We will have to be very wary of him.
Alastair Cook: Scores heavily and consistently more often than not. He can milk the opposition and turn the game on its head for England. He has an average of close to fifty in tests, currently. He will also be looking to score big as he has been faring pretty good recently. Our bowlers will need to get him out very early in the innings to ensure a win.
