T20 Champions League is based on the success of domestic T20 events in different parts of the world, Of course Indian Premier League have played a big role in orgniazing this event which is not officialy licensed by International Cricket, but still there is huge market which clubs from different coutries can exploit. Champions and runner ups from each the participating countries are supposed to be part of the event and this year it wont be any different although England who previously participated in the event now have taken the back seat and wont send their county teams for the big event.
This year there wont be any clash between the matches of Champions League T20 and the international fixtures which previously was a controversial scenario. The official match Schedule for the Cricket Twenty20 Champions League have not yet be finalized but we do have the list of teams who will be the part of the Ipl. 3 Indian Team will qualify directly into the competition, while 2 teams each from Australia and South Africa will qualify directly into the competition. While teams from Sri Lanka, West Indies, New Zealand and Pakistan and 4th IPL team will be playing the qualifiers before the Champions League proper gets under way.
